Women Who Like To Strangle Men

Dollhouse 2x05 "The Public Eye", 2x06 "The Left Hand" Photo of the Day

And now, Dollhouse is finally reviendue! With two episodes at once, no less.

Then I saw (on TV Spoiler, hehe) that 91% of the geek who will vote on this site have found episodes great. Personally, I must confess that mouais, bof, chair or bench cushi Coussa what ... Good

already, I was not excited for this comeback, CAA not help ... and although I spotted a few scenes that reminded me Angel and Buffy, it was not enough to hold on to the screen as in all first episodes of the series. There's more Amy Acker, must say! In short, do not I start with that, that Just (crap at the end xD).

The first episode begins with Daniel Perrin, aka Alexis Denisof who has lost any sex appeal he had in Angel. Confess.

Mr Willow Rosenberg, as part of its anti Rossum Corporation, the world presents the beloved Madeline, former Mellie newly key witness in the case Dollhouse.

While in the office of the Dollhouse, Adelle, Ballard that I found to cool in this episode (for once) and Special Agent Lundy Harding is looking for lice. Well yes, Harding not happy that a former active spit on Dollhouse, so he yells at Adelle and announced that the problem will be solved. What is Adelle and Ballard on the nerves. Problem solved? Whooot? They will stumble Mellie? Adelle knows nothing but assumes that someone IS Seriously fucking With Her . I confess that with this big question mark (but trying to discredit quii Adelle?) My curiosity was piqued. I wanted to know. For about two minutes. Because yes, what is pity is that they do not really take the suspense. By

cons they take the scenes in the offices of the Dollhouse between Boyd, Adelle, Ballard and Topher and even if it's true that these scenes have a certain utility and necessity it is also true that they eat up much of the episode. And that's a shame, because in the end, I found him neither beginning nor end.

Anyway, the little band of valiant pimps Perrin discovers that Mrs. (wife of Senator So, the blonde there) is a dooooll! My god! Behold the plan Harding! It has infiltrated three years ago, a doll in the bed of the Senator to care for him in case! Ben said so. Either he really had no other project, it is from the future because to be aware that we have to deal with the Senator three years later ...

was certainly far-fetched, but everything is explained, in fact. Because yes, thank you Topher who still builds things little wonder, we learn that the doll is located in the household, it is not ... but Cindy Perrin Daniel Perrin himself! Okay I confess to have fallen on my ass for what ... 3 seconds? Because yes, there is still a big problem with this "revelation". Personally, I have absolutely no compassion for these characters, no connection with them. In fact, it's hard for them to suffer when you learn they're a doll, it's difficult to take a real interest. This is the big flaw of Dollhouse, a defect that had already appeared in season 1 but they failed to adjust when they had time, anyway ... The characters are almost all dolls and returning very often to square one, there's no way to surkiffer. So

Perrin is a doll and his wife is his hood, his "handler". From that moment, and I must say, I found the most excellent lady Perrin in his role as chaperone slut with guns drawn and ready to handle her husband any false moment ... No, this is really great actress! Along two episodes, anyway. One of the good points, no doubt ^ ^

Hahaha, bitch!

She spends two episodes to go after his fake-husband and the little Echo, so it's a bit boring ... to see them run, I hear. , She put me in joy. Meanwhile Echo and Perrin are captured, certainly, but even. It's a bit the same thing. Echo is special blah, blah ... fled Echo

Meanwhile, we learn that Daniel Perrin has not been completely invented, as Bennett (the genius of Washington's Dollhouse starring Summer Glau) has just added a part of his personality. I'd say "ouaaah" but the truth is that I'm almost fucking all the time and a half. We have not had time to bind it with this character, then inevitably it will be defeated, Alexis Denisof or not!

Rossum with her senator to boot, they expect to raise his popularity (by running the Dollhouse-cons a little dicey, you think?) Then pass the laws they want, in short ... all that is evil! So attempts to dissuade Madeline Ballard to testify because Daniel Perrin, obviously, it's going to end badly. She did not listen, it is dmg ', so he does not respond to his phone and presto, you can not see most of the rest of the episode, nor the one after. It's done.

I also want to emphasize the BIG, VERY BIG Without these two episodes, but where was Sierra? I do suppoooorte that they omit some characters each time (and then there anything in two episodes!) while they spend an hour and a half to show us and Perrin Echo flee hand in hand. Y is fed up what is known as Echo is special, we know it is gone again, we know he finds it in the next episode, but they will erase it will still remember some stuff, but what crap! And Sierra, and Victor and Whiskey? With them we want to bind, not with Adelle Dewitt whose conscience bug or a senator that everyone does not care. Y is sick what. What to us Dollhouse writers do? They do not realize that this is not what we want to see? Pff ...

Finally, at the end of the episode, Echo and Perrin are captured and sent to the Dollhouse Washington where Cindy Perrin again state his malfeasance, while Daniel Perrin moans and does not know where he is (that it got drunk, after thirty minutes of the same ... thanks, stop !) and we meet Bennett. Summer Glau therefore, that the brain has a little weird and has already demonstrated an ability to be very cruel, despite his air of gentle child.

And surpraïse surpraïse! She knows she Carolina since it is apparently killed his arms there ... So it's torture and the episode ends like this.

And then I did "Yeah, well, then."

It turns out that the result is exactly the same: the kind of episode one looks quietly until he surprises us but ultimately did nothing to forward the story. Anyway that's the impression I got.

A good side to episode 6, first ... Cindy Perrin is still way into her role-legged bitch, I love it.

Now a bad thing ... Bennett shows how a short film "I'll program in mind, it will be simpler and more realistic damn you!" Echo. We discover So Echo fled while Bennett (arm and his beloved) were trapped under a beam in some unknown accident. Unfortunately, it takes so little time and we see so few things that actually learns anything about their common past. It frustrated me a lot. Only possible clue: Caroline Bennett called "sister". It would be really cool sisters but it is also true that it would come out of nowhere a little ... Especially since it is difficult to judge: Does talking to Caroline Bennett or one of its imprints? Eliza Dushku is not because such a defect variation we sometimes wonder if she should not have to model instead actress.

One who does not have this problem however, is Enver Gjokaj, who plays Victor. So now, I was delighted to see him (he who was absent from the previous episode) but it also fooled me. Because see, Adelle and Topher (who released his most horrible mantle) are in Washington trying to save their ass Dollhouse. But meanwhile, who will look after the assets? Ivy you think like me? You 're wrong! Topher has since done better, Topher always surprises (Topher is one of the good points of the series): Victor has established with its own personality and tadâââ! Topher two for the price of one! And while Enver Gjokaj interpreter Topher is the GOLD BARS. It is really too hard this guy!

He talks like him, he moves like him, he has the same voice inflections, the same pauses in the dialogue when Fran Kranz interpreter Topher ... not really, it's more than excellent. This guy is a marvel of actor! I feel I'll follow closely when the series is over ... Everyone will want it, that's for sure!

The black shape back there, it's Boyd. Which is useless in this episode. This is a pity indeed, that he never used anything that one. I remember all the potential he had at the beginning of season 1, ralala ... It is beyond me, really. How Joss Whedon, who is known for telling stories "in character" may agree to focus on its episodes at random, Echo running with Daniel Perrin in his arms, rather than give us a kaleidoscope of all the characters? Why, oh WHY? That any quoiii!

M'enfin. Another good point of the episode, except Adelle almost breaking the balls of his namesake in Washington is the little dance Topher / Bennett. Among geeks, they get along well, obviously. Worse, they admire each other. So çay goes for two hours with small smiles and 'go that I stick to you "...

I confess that I was really more! It was funny and cute well as it should (though I thought "Whiskey And then? It is still more damn hottie!") And hilarious calls when Topher Victor -Topher to tell him about Bennett. Unfortunately for the future of their budding relationship, Bennett is a manipulative psychopath who has decided to kill Echo that Topher considers his friend. Therefore, we feel that it will not do. (But then, Bennett? Excellent character at once!)

I really liked how she pointed out Topher he allows himself to be dominated by the Echo as it considers to be his friend. This proves, or at least implied, that may be non-dolls that are most have. In the end, they are all victims in this series, but I am not sure if it's more a quality than a default.

Anyway, Daniel Perrin eventually be erased remotely in fashion psychopath (as Mellie used xD) he turned against the women in his life, hehe. He tries to kill Echo, but is stronger than a rhino these days, and his wife, he actually kills ... Then he wakes up and realizes what he did. Oh yeah, that asshole. On the other hand, it was not all pretty, this lady here ... Reminds me of the end of Season 2 of Buffy, with Acathla . We feel that the writers of Dollhouse tried the same kind of complication to add a good dose of drama in Buffy, Angel-Buffy stabs the demon just before it becomes soft with Angel- -a-soul. No luck, it's already too late, he will die, but we feel that writers chose to have us back in nice fashion at the last moment for us out of tears. In Buffy it worked very well in this episode of Dollhouse ... must limit the twisting trick in every direction to understand this point. Again, they are truly missed.

In episode 4, Sierra has chosen to leave clear the memory to forget that she had killed Nolan. Perrin made the same calculation and bamboozle left. So he turned up his lecture, announced that Madeline is in fact a national of a psychiatric hospital (the enculéééé) and the Dollhouse does not exist. The scene is really well, hats off to Mr Denisof is still a great actor, but then return to box-almost-ex ...

And Madeline who finds himself in the clutches of Bennett ... they're going to remake a doll? Ah well it must bite the fingers of not listening to Ballard!

And then the episode ends with the little one who walks in Echo Street.

So I struggled. Despite some very good points (Cindy Perrin, Topher Victor), I felt that it was fatally linear. No Sierra, little Boyd Ballard and Victor ... Too many cool gadget Senator ... This is really dumb because I feel they could have done something big with this series but they have not stopped taking the road ghost, like they were always next to the real interest a story like ... the true interests of the whole story, I mean the characters, god!

Anyway. Hopefully next week will be better!
