Great news! Those who said the episode 4 of Dollhouse as greeeeeat have not lied.
I really liked. In general, the series that I surkiffe, are those when I watch the time remaining in terror (yes, it never lasts long enough). I confess with Dollhouse, these days, I let go. Both the season 1 made me is impatient, as there ... The first episode was great (we wonder why!), but 2 and 3 were slightly below (apart from Victor Kiki, it c'è silent giant). Fortunately, this episode raises the bar.
But I notice that once again, missing a character. No Ballard this week! Who cares, ya Boyd, Topher and Sierra in great shape.
Because yes, 'Belonging' is a Sierra episode! Finally, Priya's first name. It's refreshing to see teeeellement, Ditchen Lakman! Like most bloody episodes focusing on secondary characters like Saunders or Sierra rather than those that treat almost as dynamics Echo Paul.
Already, one discovers that Priya began her life in the States by selling his paintings (yes, she is a painter!) Market in Venice Beach near a nigga damn cool. But that happens so tirelessly that the fleet? Nolaaaan ... (To speak with disgust)
Nolan, for those who have forgotten (but honestly ...) is the enc * the who fucking Sierra in the Dollhouse because she did not want him. Yes, it's pathetic, and horribeul. The same man she confronted in the episode 1x08 without achieving much and who is played by Vincent Ventresca.
Through flashbacks well done, one discovers that has as they say tried to buy her love (and body, that goes together) holding him in a preview ... But Priya is not small at ease among all these people idiots, except! Well except with a familiar face ...Echoooo! And there's also Victor, moreover, that plays a rital fan of painting and with whom Priya gets along well right away (they are really meant for each other, we understood). It took a while to get on my brain, but in fact we must understand that Nolan is an avid customer of the Dollhouse. So he hired a lot of people to impress his little Priya who does nothing to make. Yes, she prefers to draw the road and this is where Nolan is starting to become violent. I loved this scene ... how they shouting at each other! I was fully with it, it gives me the creeps the horrible man. Unfortunately this interview ends with Nolan, who sold to the Dollhouse and the "rent" fairly often. Yeah yeah, when I say it's a horrible man, I not mince my words! What he has done? He drugged to believe that she was totally crazy and psychotic. Obviously, Adelle and Topher in good social cases they are, do not look twice if Priya and bimbamboum ... here comes a new friend for you, Echo! (Yes, we remember the first episode in which Sierra tumbling xD)
Before you move on, note the presence of ...
Aaaah, is not no denying I gets off! Even if it is old and balding. It still has the class. Keith Carradine ... Special Agent Frank Lundy xD Anyway. Here he plays Mr Harding, a type of Rossum, a villain. Yes, very bad. The kind so balèze and immoral it could almost sell the concept to the Dollhouse Mother Teresa. Anyway, I'm glad to see Keith Carradine, I like this actor!
Meanwhile, Sierra painted black. She does not like that color but she says she is everywhere, so ... Victor then, helped Echo, steals all the pots of black paint and will empty them in the showers! xD Oh yes, I loved it. Well, in the showers, having happily daubed face with Sierra ("You look like an Indian chief! VICTOR: I am an Indian chief!" ), he has a flashback of his military past and collapses ... mouarf.
It lasted two seconds focusing on Victor in the episode, but it's still fun! It is not difficult still, to a character in an episode a few times without it being useless? god! ... But
Echo, who is a friend of Sierra and recently less vegetative door painting Topher, who is busy trying to build a remote-wipe. And he does it well laugh, Toph. "
Mad genius, anyone? Still
that Topher realize that Sierra has a problem wrong and after a moment thought he was the "bad man" whom she spoke, he recon re his little person. Oh yes, Topher develops a conscience.
In fact, the episode is as much as that of Sierra. He also gets to quote Doc Saunders and his good Artworks (LOOOVE IT! GIVE HER BAAAAACK, You Rascal!) and attempts to dissuade Adelle sell Sierra Nolan ... permanently. Specify one or two things that Adelle has treated Nolan asshole rapist and murderer almost decided not to count him among its customers. So he cons-attacked by requiring him to Sierra is forever. So Adelle said no. So Mr Special Agent Lundy has tumbled and told her she was under their control and that if she refused to do as Nolan asked, she would go into premature retirement (Lock, what). Adelle So, well, ... Topher force it to send Sierra to the ogre. Jizusse!
Topher fought tooth and nail by recalling that they are supposed to protect their assets, like Doc Saunders Said! xD ... and Adelle meet: Dr. Saunders? One who died at three meters from you or the last woman you have programmed with a personality definitive history of giving new life to broken doll she é , silent, new life she has also found perrave if she ran away? The têêête Topher! Priceless! It almost makes me difficult to find something that beats beneath his shirt. Fran Kranz is really, really strong.
Adelle And, it's really, really a bitch. I find it so cool that reminds us, there was too inclined to find "not so bad as that, just immoral." I say that because she Topher balance that all staff members were chosen because their character was altered in some way (which arouses my curiosity about Boyd), all but him, Topher, who was chosen because it has no morality. Go ahead, bitch.
Sierra Topher will search for his last treatment ... Victor wants to come but he says he can not, then it awaits the return of Sierra at the same place for hours. If it is not er ... beautiful? I know very well. Should we balance a little more epic in that relationship and not just cute stuff all full, certainly, but really less orgasmic than in all other relationships Whedon.
Adelle, who tore his hair in despair, asked Boyd to ensure that Topher follow orders to the letter (story she did not have to take drastic measures ... arf ...). Boyd, he was rummaging in the bed of Echo and he realized she was reading a book without pictures ... So she could remember. She used bookmarks. And she could lie. We, the small audience attentive, you realize something even better (I almost cried out in excitement!) When the "lid" closes its pod ... it takes nooootes! Ralala! She writes with nails, by cons? Or chicos? No but seriously, too good.
Fortunately, Boyd finally tell him he is on his side but must be careful. It's nice to see some relationship Boyd / Echo, it tended to be forgotten these days.
By the way, the flashback where we see Priya totally mad (made by Nolan deliberately mad bastard) be led by Topher (at a time one imagines just before the pilot) is excellent. Dichen is excellent. And then the scene follows, with music, where we see Adelle drink, Priya being taken away in straitjackets, Topher bugue ... It's great! Not often you see the episodes where they take the time to make small music scene like that ^ ^
Good for cons, the poor Priya, it takes three to tie. ..
Adelle tries to reassure Topher (and herself?) And then you move to Sierra or whatever it is she, with Nolan ... for life. Aaaargh. Finally it is until she rebelled and he does: "Priya?" And there, I exult! Yes, Topher, y'knoow! He has not dropped! And no, he returned in the original Nolan Priya for it to boot the cuuuul! It is more than that, actually. She kills him.
Then, horrified, she calls that Topher is found. I love the friendship they have developed both (though Topher is really to be conscious).
Can Boyd arrives. And that I love. They began to organize one of those things ...! Priya makes a fake-bag for Nolan, Boyd and Topher which cut and dissolve the body ...
Oh sure, it leaves traces. You're full of blood, my poor Topher (and if Megan Fox was there, she would say: "Do you have a tampon?" XD).
Boyd, a good party planner that is, lies at Adelle who is not fooled but found that everything was done properly, I guess, and Topher guilty to death of what it did to Priya. There follows a scene
really cool between them. Already it is rare to see one of the original personalities enter the conversation in the lab Topher, but also it's good because as I said, they have an interesting relationship. They are friends, at least Topher is his, and he implies birthdays spent together and that, CAAA ... 1x10, right? How I loved this episode! The scene is sad, though, as Priya says he was supposed to help her, she lives in a nightmare she killed a man ... Well, he offers her a beer, it was cool. And she makes love Victor, that's cool too. She asks if it's real, he says yes and adds that Victor loves it there and I wonder if Topher is not a little sad to be alone. (If, when she returns, Doc Saunders yells again, it's going to shit.)
It was thought that the scene could not be more depressing, but in fact so. Priya asks Topher (who, incidentally, is dressed in BLACK-Wah, Saunders has a greater influence on him than I thought!) Not to make him remember the day he brings it back again (of course it will bring you! T ' 're not doomed to be a doll all your life, chuck). Finally it's sad to say that this alone Topher, again, will remember their friendship, because it helped him and everything. For her it will be almost a stranger to him while she is his friend. It's the same thing with Saunders. Kiff one way and everything. Ralala. Topher what ... No wonder he eventually we fart by a hose. Always alone, damn, it depresses me to him. It is these dramatic relationships he has with dolls! Brothel c * l!
Especially as Priya asks if he can keep the secret of this day ... "I Can Keep It. I do not know if I Can Live With It. SIERRA: I know I can not. But I do not have to. " perfect reminder of what the Dollhouse, huh. This scene is pretty horrible but I love how it ends.
Boyd Echo gives a pass to enter and exit the Dollhouse in case things go wrong and she continues to read his book, and Sierra and Victor who sleep together ... Not bad, not bad ^ ^
I love seeing all three together. It was a very good episode in this direction, particularly since it also has a team-Topher Boyd. But it was not as great episode (even if very, very good, hear me well) and it's starting to scare me. I wonder if they will ever get the 2x13.
I also noticed that there was no character comic. Even Topher has never been a totally like Xander, Cordelia ... good and Firefly are all caricatures. Except Zoe. Zoe has the class and that's all.
